I reread my first mini summary post from earlier in the year and had to laugh at myself because.. I couldn't have expected this. Minusing the quick drabbles and the like that I wrote for Seraphim Slum because I am still very much obsessed with it, that makes 30 new works, aka 24 new works in the second-half of the year (?!)
The secret to this madness was undoubtedly fest signups... obviously my brain was yearning for a deadline replacement since uni is now well in my past, and what better way to provide that than over-commit to SVT fests and have to force your brain to cooperate?? But it worked, so!

another niche crossover/fusion i couldn't resist doing to put together an unconventional haoshua
stolen drinks and hurried breath
i remember this prompt fill being something i struggled quite a lot with because of how complicated it was shaping up to be, so in the end i pulled back a bit to have the seoksoo conversation take place... dialogue is forever the bane of my existence
somehow i ended up doing three prompt fills. idk what possessed me but im proud of the turnaround for these

this is what i thought would be my magnum opus verhao submission, and im still reeling over how Tea 8 with vernon actually bceame a thing. cannot explain exactly what lead my brain to think of the chapter 2 with human furniture-ing but i'm not mad about it either

i was pretty uncertain about the direction i ended up going in for this one so im glad anyone other than me enjoyed it (marked it as a success in my mind)

the prompt for this was forever haunting my brain and finally i decided to claim it last minute...ever so slightly tapping into fond(?) memories of playing cyberqueen in particular to channel the right pov vibe i wanted

this one came to life so quickly and also helped me kick off my seasons of bingo s10 completion (oh yeah another thing i signed up for). verhaoisms have taken over my mind just a little and they have not really gone away
the two transistor fics
two very niche and very different ones but i had to get the transistor brainworms exorcised after replaying it twice
the two network fishery fics
proud of myself for taking the plunge after spending too long flicking through the same pieces of fanart and the odd postype fanfic hehe... i would like to add to them next year:)

my svt secret santa fic! wanted to portray different jeongcheol-isms so of course i decided to visit a few different settings with cheol in tow...this was fun to write
I totally goofed up my Yuletide signup for this year but now I know what to do differently next time! As of posting I don't think fics have been revealed yet but I'm pretty proud of the one I whipped together for my recipient; good childhood nostalgia and I'm very pleased by the lovely comments it got:')

And actually I also want to congratulate myself on the extra fics I did this past week lmao I did not expect to be posting anything else beyond the secret santa piece
I broke the world for us - Briarwoods-ifying junhao was something I thought Id do next year but the images just wouldnt go away.... I still have thoughts about a few other takes on this so idk if Ill play around with them again next year
a delivery gone wrong (or right?) - there I was staring at some seasons of bingo squares I didnt know how to tick off when I had a brainwave and thought of the perfect premise for a joshy hong birthday fic to post...so here we are
Change of heart, who can say? - and I really didn't think I'd have anything to post for tae yet taehao took over my brain again... actually fun fact I only watched the winter ahead mv once in full and yet it has still laid roots in my mind
And I guess looking ahead to 2025....
- I've already signed up to a few fests, and.. I have my eyes on a few more.....
- I am trying hard to let some 17hols prompts stew their way to fruition in my brain (unfortunately no promises for how well I do at this)
- I made a pledge for Get Your Words Out so I will try meet it - but even if I don't replicate this crazy output next year I'll still be happy if I don't need to drop out of anything I signed up to next year!
- I still have the wips that I mentioned in my first post so... I will try give them some attention...
- I would really like to try write a longer fic with more of a plot, and maybe play around with some more rarepairs/other fandoms!
